Focus

The ISO 21001 training program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of ISO 21001, the international standard for educational organizations management systems. The program will cover the key concepts, requirements, and best practices necessary for implementing and maintaining an effective educational management system in compliance with ISO 21001.

Skills & Competencies

The extensive agenda of the workshop is designed to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to develop, implement, monitor, and improve an Educational Management System based on ISo21001 to enhance the educational quality and excellence.

The program will provide guidance and resources for participants interested in pursuing Lean Six Sigma certification exams, such as Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Methodology

Lectures, Case Studies with Real-life examples of ISO 21001 implementation in educational organizations, Group Discussions to facilitate knowledge sharing and problem-solving, practical exercises to apply ISO 21001 principles to real-world scenarios, quizzes and assessments to gauge understanding and retention of the material, and Mock Audits to prepare participants for the certification process.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this workshop, attendees will have achieved a high level of proficiency that enables them to:

      1. Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of ISO 21001, its purpose, and its benefits for educational organizations.
      2. Develop a clear understanding of the process approach in educational management systems and its application within their organization.
      3. Create a risk-based thinking mindset and apply risk management principles to address risks and opportunities in education management.
      4. Develop and implement policies, objectives, and plans in alignment with ISO 21001 requirements.
      5. Design and establish processes to meet the needs and expectations of students, stakeholders, and other interested parties.
      6. Monitor and measure the performance of the educational management system using key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate its effectiveness.
      7. Construct continuous improvement cycle for corrective and preventive actions in response to non-conformities.

Duration and Mode of Delivery

The workshop extends over a period of 10 days, featuring 3 hours each day of intensive, interactive learning sessions. It is designed to be accessible and convenient for all by offering both online and in-person attendance options. Participants will be recognized with 30 PDUs (Professional Development Units) for their commitment to professional growth upon completion of the program.

Profile of the Trainer

  1. More than 20 years of teaching and research experience in Higer Education.

  2. More than seven years of experience in managing QA&IE, IRP, assessment of learning outcomes, and accreditation in Higher Education.

  3. In-Depth experience in developing QA&IE framework, strategic planning, and organizational policies.

  4. Extensive experience in AI, statistics, survey design, data visualization, analysis, and interpretation.

  5. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Kansas University, USA.

  6. Certified AACSB Program Assessment.
  7. Certified AACSB Benchmarking.
  8. Certified ABET Fundamentals of Program Assessment.
  9. Reviewer of IEEE Online Learning Courses.
