UAE Universities - Ranking 2024
QS World University Rankings is an annual ranking of the world's top universities. It is intended to assist students, academics, and employers in making informed decisions about higher education institutions. The QS 2024 Ranking included 14 UAE universities.
World Ranking. Four UAE universities are among the top 500 in the QS World Ranking 2024, and 3 of which are among the top 400. Of those 3, only one university improved its world ranking compared to 2023 (American University of Sharjah).
Arab Region. Nine UAE universities are ranked among the top 30 institutions in the Arab Region, of which 3 are among the top 10. Of the nine universities, five have improved their Arab Region ranking. It is noted from the below table that 3 institutions in the Arab ranking are continuously improving since 2022 (Canadian University in Dubai, Ajman University, and Abu Dhabi University).
Axosomatic Finding. We conducted benchmarking studies to determine the reasons for ranking improvement. Our finding showed that the
improvement in the ranking is the outcome of implementing aggressive and
effective strategies that encompass all aspects of academic excellence and to be the best.
